Welcome back Lacy!

This is; Rocket Leola Leo! She is a registered APHA, born on Feb 7,1997. She is a girl :) so we call her "Lacy"-not Leo! She has some "sisters" that are scheduled to come into Safe Haven next week, or as soon as we can make ROOM! She's quite the purty girl.
Lacy came back to Safe Haven Horse Rescue, as her "parents" are having some health issues & they returned her as the adoption agreement states....SO welcome home Lacy!!!
Bye for now,

Bubba, it's not nice to stick your tongue out!

I notice in the pic of "Girls & Geldings" when I zoomed in on it, that Bubba had his tongue! sticking out!!!!!!
I know this is not the clearest pic but, it is the best I could get my computor to do!, & I think that this is the cutest!
You can make any image on our blog, whether, pic or flyer, come up full page by just clicking on that item when your mouse shows a hand!! I'm sure you all know that :) but just in case :)

Josh just LOVES his Kayla!

Thank You Josh.....for looking @ the camera this time!!!! Words can hardly express the "love" this horse has for this little 12 year old girl!
We @ Safe Haven, have watched other riders on Josh....... & he just doesn't give his "all" as he does, when Kayla is on him. Little girl....Big horse......=......LOVE!!!!
Josh came from So. Cal., his owners couldn't afford the much needed eye surgery, to remove a growing sarcoid tumor, on his left eyelid (Ouch!)So we needed to raise funds for this surgery &..&... low & behold... the wonderful... FOB's... came "riding" to the rescue!!! They got together on the Alex Brown Racing Forum, & did some real extensive fund raising for this beautiful guy!!!! It took alot of "bumping" & "challenging" each other to raise the funds but they were ever steady on their "Quest for Josh" .......&...... Safe Haven Horse Rescue.....was able to have the vets do his surgery, much sooner than expected, Thanks to all the "Love" the FOB's sent our way!!!!! What a wonderful group of humans! THEY ALL "ROCK"!!!!!
You can see pics of his eye on the forum, on our website...........www.safehavenhorserescue.org
....just click on the forum, click on horse information, & there you find pics & stories of most of our horses for the last couple of years, find Josh's name, click on that & you then find all his pics we have posted there for him, (Linda was in the operating room w/ Josh during the entire operation, & has some pictures, posted of that) The vets put "the ball" in his eye so he would look like he just had his eye "closed" but Josh had other ideas, & rubbed the ball....out of his eye......we found, THE BALL, in his water trough!!!!!! Josh is still handsome w/out the ball :)
We were worried that "Drifter" might do the same thing, & rub his "rubber eye ball" out BUT thank goodness.... he hasn't. (The ROCKIN" FOB's helped to raise those funds too)
