Safe Haven Horse Rescue's Fall Play Day!

The Fairies & Goblins showed up for the Costume Class for Safe Haven Horse Rescue's Fall Play Day!!! There was also Indian Maidens, Cowboys, Jockeys, Patriots to name a few of the class. (I will post more pics of the costumes as the pics become available to me)  Lindsy is riding Judd, A 20+ year old Medicine Hat Paint Gelding, who needs his eye removed. He's such a Good Ole Boy, we hope to raise the $900+ soon for his surgery!

Well, I was in the announcer's booth, so this is the back side of the Costume Class!!!! The Judging was so close that Linda R & Cori M. awarded 2 FIRST PLACES & 2 SECOND PLACES RIBBONS!!!

Safe Haven Horse Rescue has now available for purchase these Wonderful ActiVEX products for sale on our website! We have been 'trying' them out on a few select horses, & Deena (the emaciated, stoved-up paint mare) is doing awesome on the joint supplement! I saw her myself running in the arena w/ no stiffness in her back end & she was a bucking & running little gal!!!! If you have an Oldie but a Goodie, you should give this stuff a try!

LOOKY LOOKY, what Cori had to offer to the people who came to our Play Day!!!! When a person bought $5.00 or $10.00 in regular raffle tickets, you got a Blue Ticket for the Portable DVD Player OR the BMX Bicycle!!! OR you got a RED Ticket for the Vizoi 42" flat screen HD TV!!!!!! They were DOOR PRIZES! It was so very nice to offer a SPECIAL TREAT to all the Wonderful People who came out to support Safe Haven!!!!

 

This is Saber, a Safe Haven Lesson Horse with my 2 Grand Daughters!!!!! Lydia & Lindsy, Saber has his tie-dye reins on & has peace signs on his bod, as he & Lyd were Hippies for the Costume Class!!!!

Karlie D.  & her cousin, needed water for their horses & since the only water faucet was a ways away from the trailer they grabbed Karlie boyfriend & the three of them carried the water back to the horse!!! Good Job!

Valerie showed up to ride the gelding she has been training for the last couple of years! She has done a Stellar job on this handsome guy! He was very good at the Play Day!

Darren, THE BAR-B-QUER! got to take a little break & have a sit down in the shade w/ his Grandson Ryan!

Our beginning Announcer, Chuck Bartok, could not stay for the entire show! So we had to find someone to do it!! & who knew! Dave M. took on the challenge & did a STELLAR job at it!  A BIG &HUGE THANK YOU! goes out to CHUCK & DAVE!!!!  A BIG 'THANK YOU FOR YOUR ON GOING SUPPORT!
