Dozer wasn't paying much attention to my picture taking but finally he cooperated!!! Isn't he a handsome boy!!!
It's nice to live in a town where you can ride your horse down the street if you want! Cottonwood has a bunch of cattle ranchers here, & lot's & lot's of horse owners, so everyone is up on the etiquette of what to do when you're Driving by someone on Horseback! Cottonwood has a parade & rodeo every year on Mother's Day weekend, & the largest cattle yard west of Austin Texas!!! At the auction yard, they have pictures of all the ranchers & people's brands on display! It is quite a cool thing to look at!!! We also have sculptures of cows, horses, dogs, calves, ranchers, down the middle of Main St. It's real nice. Safe Haven Horse Rescue takes care of the median that is in remembrance of Phylis Westmoreland, & it is an honor for us to do so!
Volunteer Work Day is next Saturday, & as it is the day before Valentine's Day, we will have a yummy cake from Sandy's Specialties, here in Cottonwood, to share with you all.
Bye for now,
Linda C.
