&....... the NEW....... ADOPTIVE MOM Is;............

Lisa Chadwick! She adopted Romeo! her first Horse Ever!!! Lisa is Sooooooooooo Happy! Look at that Happy Happy Face!!!!! Safe Haven Horse Rescue, met Lisa & Jeff, while having a hotdog fundraiser at Tractor Supply in Redding...............Thank You......Tractor Supply!!!!
Jeff, is giving Lisa a few pointers on how to ride Romeo, they are in the arena at Safe Haven.
& We're Riding!!!! Romeo is such a nice sweet gelding! Safe Haven Horse Rescue, saved this horse from being sent to Oregon, to the Safari place, to be slaughtered for Lion Food!!!!!!!!!! The former owner, got mad at him, when he kicked another mare she has, & even tho, she had bred this baby & had him for all these years, she was going to send him up there! Linda R. caught wind of this, & called the woman & arranged for him to be brought to Safe Haven. THANK GOD! Needless to say; she will not see us spending ANYMORE $'s at her store!!!!!!! Doesn't that just BLOW your socks off???? OK, enough said.......back to the Happy Stuff!!!Lisa told me, that as a child, when her parents took the family on road trips, that she would keep looking out the car window, just to see horses in the pastures!!! She got very excited when she did see some! So! now we are happy to say; Lisa can mark off on her To Do in My Life List; owning a horse!!! YEAH.........
What an awesome photo! Just look at that handsome 'Babydoll' head of his!!! Is he photogenic or what! Lisa & Jeff, have brought their friend, Michael K. out to Safe Haven also. As you have probably noticed on the pics that Michael has his 'watermark' on them as .......he & Lisa are, Both, Professional Photographers!!! The pictures that these two are taking of Safe Haven's horses & other critters are just phenomenal!!! Thank You to Both of them!
Lisa is a very Special Person, she has an adopted horse &&&&...she has....Four Adopted Children!!!!!
This is Romeo 'lovin' on Lisa's daughter, Selena, a very nice young Lady, who has the most perfect quietness about her, that all the horses just love to be close to her!!! They all just love to put their heads on her! I have one of her & Denny, that I will post on another blog! Cuz this is suppose to be about Lisa & Romeo...........but there is so many good things to share with you all about Lisa & her family & friends.......that I get carried away!!!!! "]
After, the grooming, the tacking up, the riding, the lovin's, it was time to put Romeo back in his pen, & Lisa & her son, Brandon, are taking him there! I just Love these kind of pictures! They are just too cool! I think there will be Another Story Soon about; Romeo.......Is that your........Juliet??? Can you guess??????
Bye for now,
Linda C.
